Volkswagen Tiguan: the lowdown
Volkswagen is going Freelander hunting with its new Golf-based Tiguan off-roader. Unveiled at the Los Angeles Motorshow this morning, Concept Tiguan gives a nine-tenths preview of what the production-ready Tiguan will look like when it arrives here in January 2008. It will initially arrive with a choice of front or all-wheel-drive, four engines – two petrol and two advanced ‘Clean TDI’ diesel units – and six-speed manual or DSG transmission.
Volkswagen Passat CC gets a Facelift for 2012
The VW Passat CC – the swoopy-coupe version of the regular Passat – has been around for four years and has hardly changed since it launched. Well, unless you count the option of having five seats in the back of your Passat CC, that is. But now its time for Volkswagen’s Mondeo-sized offering that thinks it’s a Mercedes CLS to get a bit of a makeover.

Jaguar will announce its 60th annivesary XK sports car at next week's London motor show. Dubbed the XK60 and based on the naturally aspirated XK coupe and convertible, the new Jag will be available from August 2008. The XK60 comes with around £5000 of optional extras at no extra cost - and every naturally aspirated XK will come in XK60 spec unless buyers opt out.
